When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Very interesting concept and perspective; the title mixed with the dramatic close-shot of the cookie work to somewhat give the '5 second rule' a sense of real status.
Good job on the cookie itself. It has a realistic texture to it, and even the grooves along the edge have a nice shading to them. The lighting might be a tad off though, on the surface of the cookie, that is. Not sure if it is the lighting or not, but going from the center of the cookie and out to the ceiling-fan, it seems as if there is more light across that section. The background seems rather bland, but then again it is rather fitting as well. Most households I've been in, older houses more specifically, have somewhat boring wallpaper in the kitchen and such. So that's actually fine, and indeed makes it more realistic, to a degree. all this cookie-talk has made me hungry... -- Get frelled. Obey the Empresses... That's crazy with a capital "G"! Yeah, I was really trying to push the background back on that one. The lighting doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but the picture didn't read very well with accurate lighting.... and I had a deadline.
There is a lighter band across the center of the cookie, and when I shot the image it exaggerated it even more... a bit stronger than I originally intended it here. Maybe I'll drop it into PS and fix that up. Thanks for the critique, (sorry for making you hungry) |
